Mojo Sherrill 16U Captures Lead Late In Victory Over Stars Nat SG 16u


Mojo Sherrill 16U topped Stars Nat SG 16u 16U 3-2 on Friday after taking the lead late in the game. The game was tied at two in the top of the fourth when Reese Poole singled, scoring one run.


The pitching was strong on both sides. Mojo Sherrill 16U pitchers struck out four, while Stars Nat SG 16u 16U sat down eight.


Stars Nat SG 16u 16U were the first to get on the board in the first when Madison Norris (2027) drew a walk, scoring one run.


Stars Nat SG 16u 16U committed an error, which helped Mojo Sherrill 16U tie the game at one in the top of the second.


A double play gave Stars Nat SG 16u 16U the lead, 2-1, in the bottom of the second.


Mojo Sherrill 16U took the lead, 3-2, in the top of the fourth thanks to singles by Caroline Constable, and Poole.


Annie Schroeder earned the win for Mojo Sherrill 16U. The hurler surrendered one hit and two runs over four innings, striking out four and walking four. Ansleigh Giordano (2026) took the loss for Stars Nat SG 16u 16U. The reliever went two innings, surrendering two runs on three hits, striking out three and walking one. Nia Ingraham (2028) led things off in the circle for Stars Nat SG 16u 16U. The starter surrendered four hits and one run (zero earned) over three innings, striking out five and walking one.


Kyla Hamby and Savanna Henderson were a force together in the lineup, as they each collected two hits for Mojo Sherrill 16U while hitting back-to-back. Constable and Poole were a one-two punch in the lineup, as each drove in one run for Mojo Sherrill 16U. Mojo Sherrill 16U ran wild on the base paths, amassing six stolen bases for the game. Mojo Sherrill 16U turned one double play in the game.

Mojo Sherrill 16U Walk-Off In Nail-Biter Against So Cal Athletics Kennedy 26/27


It came down to the wire on Friday, as Mojo Sherrill 16U grabbed the victory in walk-off fashion, 3-2, over So Cal Athletics Kennedy 26/27. The game was tied at two in the bottom of the sixth when Abby Brunelli singled, scoring one run.


The pitching was strong on both sides. Mojo Sherrill 16U pitchers struck out five, while So Cal Athletics Kennedy 26/27 sat down four.


Mojo Sherrill 16U opened the scoring in the fourth after Reese Poole hit a solo home run to center field.


So Cal Athletics Kennedy 26/27 took the lead in the top of the sixth inning after Emily Maddox (South Alabama) homered to center field, and Sadie Foote 2027 singled down the left field line, each scoring one run.


In the bottom of the sixth inning, Mojo Sherrill 16U went back into the lead after , and Brunelli singled down the left field line, each scoring one run.


Eleanor Brummond earned the win for Mojo Sherrill 16U. The hurler allowed four hits and two runs over four innings, striking out one and walking two. Alivia Harris 2027 took the loss for So Cal Athletics Kennedy 26/27. The hurler went one-third of an inning, allowing two runs on three hits, striking out one and walking two. Josey Kegley stepped in the circle first for Mojo Sherrill 16U. The starter surrendered two hits and zero runs over two innings, striking out four and walking none. Ellie Cox (Troy) led things off in the circle for So Cal Athletics Kennedy 26/27. The starting pitcher gave up two hits and one run over five innings, striking out three and walking none.


Brunelli, Caroline Constable, Poole, Savanna Henderson, and Kylie Condon each collected one hit for Mojo Sherrill 16U. Brunelli and Poole each drove in one run for Mojo Sherrill 16U.


Hope Kennedy (Northwest FL St.), Harris 2027, Reagan Lawson (Howard), Mallory Magrino 2026, Maddox (South Alabama), and Foote 2027 each collected one hit for So Cal Athletics Kennedy 26/27. Maddox (South Alabama) and Foote 2027 each drove in one run for So Cal Athletics Kennedy 26/27. Lawson (Howard) stole two bases. So Cal Athletics Kennedy 26/27 didn't commit a single error in the field. #13 had the most chances in the field with three.
