Mojo~Sherrill 16U took Saturday's game in dramatic fashion, with an 8-6 walk-off victory over TN Mojo 2027 Fox. The game was tied at six in the bottom of the fourth when Kyla Hamby homered to center field, scoring two runs.
Mojo~Sherrill 16U opened the scoring in the bottom of the first thanks to three singles. Mojo~Sherrill 16U first got on the board when Reese Poole singled, scoring one run.
Mojo~Sherrill 16U extended their early lead with two runs in the bottom of the third thanks to RBI singles by Audrey Vivino and Kaylee Phillips.
Eleanor Brummond started in the circle for Mojo~Sherrill 16U. The starter gave up three hits and three runs (two earned) over three innings, striking out one and walking one. Kinzie Ivey appeared in relief for Mojo~Sherrill 16U.
Mojo~Sherrill 16U collected nine hits in the game. Vivino provided pop in the middle of the lineup, and led Mojo~Sherrill 16U with three runs batted in. The second baseman went 2-for-2 on the day.
