Savanna Henderson drove in four runs on one hit Grand Slam as Mojo-Sherrill 16U tied KS Select Fastpitch Jones on Friday. In the third inning, Henderson hit a grand slam to left field.
Mojo-Sherrill 16U got on the board in the first inning after Maddy Steele hit a sacrifice fly, scoring one run.
KS Select Fastpitch Jones made the score 3-1 in the bottom of the second after Lauren Sandholm singled, scoring one run, and Kennedy Watson homered to right field, scoring two runs.
Madison Nagel homered to left field, which helped KS Select Fastpitch Jones tie the game at five in the bottom of the third.
Ivey doubled to center field, which helped Mojo-Sherrill 16U tie the game at seven in the top of the fifth.
Eleanor Brummond pitched three innings in relief for Mojo-Sherrill 16U. The pitcher allowed three hits and four runs (two earned) while, striking out four and walking none. Annie Schroeder led things off in the circle for Mojo-Sherrill 16U. The starter allowed two hits and three runs over one and two-thirds innings, striking out two and walking none.
Kyla Hamby led Mojo-Sherrill 16U with two hits in two at bats..
